Our Mission
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and one another, growing in faith, through worship, connection, and service.
Our Beliefs
We believe God has called us to make a difference in this city.
We believe in walking next to people for their entire lives as they draw closer to God.
We believe we are set apart to be builders of God’s kingdom of justice in mercy in Baytown.
We believe all people are called to a life of joy and meaning in Christ.
WORSHIP
We believe the worship of Jesus is foundational to spiritual growth. We worship privately through daily prayer and Bible study. We worship together on Sundays as we pray together, sing praises to God, proclaim the word of God, and bring our offerings before the Lord. For most people, worship is a front door or first step into life with Christ. Our goal:
Everyone worships.
Everyone worships.

CONNECTION
God's people are communal people. We were not created to be faces in a crowd. At St. Mark's we want everyone to be connected in a group where "everybody knows your name." Sunday School classes and Connection Groups are places where believers can share life together, pray for one another, and bear one another's burdens in love Our goal: Everyone has a group.
SERVICE
It's hard to believe Jesus changed the world in a three-year ministry. For 2,000 years the people of God have been the only plan for carrying the mission of Jesus. We are saved by grace, but we believe service is a faithful response to what Christ has done for us. Our goal:
Everyone has a job.
