ST. MARK'S KIDS

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

When building a home the foundation is critical, just like the spiritual foundation that is laid in the hearts of children is critical for life. The spiritual foundations we lay help to shape who they will be in their future. We, at St. Mark’s, want to plant a faith in young hearts that will grow for years to come.

Sunday School

Children of all ages, at St. Mark’s, have a place to learn and grow in their faith in Children’s Sunday School classes, which begin at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. Classes are divided into age groups:
Nursery: 6 weeks through 2 year-olds
Preschool: 3 and 4 year-olds
Early Elementary: Kindergarten and 1st grade
Middle Elementary: 2nd and 3rd grades
Older Elementary (Tweens): 4th, 5th, and 6th grades

"Kids' Church"

Sundays during both the 9:00am Traditional worship service and the  11:00am Refuge Contemporary! Bring your whole family into one of these worship services, and all our littles will leave for a portion of the service to have their very own age-focused worship opportunity.

Tweens

The Tweens program is a great place for kids to get involved at St. Mark’s. It is also a good introduction as to what to expect when reaching the Youth group. The Tweens group is made up of 4th, 5th and 6th graders, who gather on the 2nd Friday of every month for Tween Scene at the church from 6-9 p.m. unless stated otherwise. Information about these events can be found in the Sunday bulletin or in the Children's Ministry Office.
Tweens enjoy various activities such as missionary work, roller skating, laser tag, devotionals, Christian music, game nights and simply gathering and enjoying the company of other children at St. Mark’s.
If you or someone you know is in 4th, 5th or 6th grade, we would like to welcome you to our group, so you too can grow in your faith through play, work, and worship!
