Traditional Worship

Worship is fundamental to the St. Mark’s community and is key to its spiritual vitality. Worship is what makes us children of God.

On Sunday mornings, we have two traditional worship services in our Sanctuary one at 8:30 a.m. and one at 10:45 a.m. These worship services are a traditional format that blends a variety of musical styles. The 8:30 service serves Communion every Sunday and is led by the our Traditional Worship Director. The 10:45 worship service is rooted in the historic liturgy of the church utilizing classic hymns, choral music, organ, and a variety of instrumentalists to enhance the sense of the sacred. While this service is traditional, it is also relevant and inclusive as it brings together current themes in our world alongside sound Biblical teaching. Music at this service is global and exciting. Handbell choirs, the youth choir and guest instrumentalists often offer musical reflections at this service.
