A disciple is a person on a journey to follow Jesus. The purpose of this journey is to develop a deepening relationship with God, others, self and creation.
Faith Path at St. Mark’s
1. A path to feed and be fed to grow.

3. A path to further Christ’s kingdom on earth. To make disciples for the transformation of the world.
Discipleship, also called spiritual formation, is the process of transforming our inner self as a result of a deepening relation with God. Our inner self becomes the home of Jesus. Our thoughts, words and deeds become more characteristic of Jesus. As Paul said in Philippians 2:5, “Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ.”
a journey, not a moment; it is dynamic, not static; it is individual, not uniform or cookie cutter. Journeys have a destination toward which they move.
